Building an Obesity Treatment Plan Workshop

Date: April 3-4
Accreditation: 10 CME/CE and 10 Medical Knowledge MOC points (ABIM)
Level: Introductory/Intermediate
*Runs concurrently with the Obesity Medicine Bootcamp

Obesity Conference MOC

Learn the essentials of developing comprehensive and individualized obesity treatment plans utilizing OMA's four pillars of clinical obesity treatment: nutrition, physical activity, behavior, and medication. Then use real-life case studies to apply what you learned in practice.

The interactive workshop format will allow you to focus your attention on one pillar at a time and gain the skills to apply the key concepts of obesity medicine in your practice. On day one, experts in the four topic areas will lead didactic sessions to cover the clinical essentials of each obesity treatment approach. Once you've covered the fundamentals, you'll be ready for day two – an interactive learning experience. Engage in discussions with your colleagues, and walk through several case studies guided by a topic expert to build a comprehensive, individualized obesity treatment plan.

What's New?

  • Extended workshop to two days
  • One day dedicated to learning the essentials of each obesity treatment pillar
  • One day dedicated to practical application
